Ohnivec (pronounced O-knee-vets), a popular Eastern European and Czech chilli pepper variety. It is a fleshy, "ram's horn" type of Capsicum annuum that grows very long, substantial pods. Mild-to-medium (approx. 1,200 to 2,200 Scoville Heat Units). Similar to mild Jalapeño when yellow, developing more "zingy" heat as it ripens Long, tapering fruits that grow 15 cm to 20 cm in length.
