Eglwys Cwmgors Church Hello. Would anyone be able to donate large, lightweight boards, please? Cwmgors parish church SA18 1PE is putting on a craft exhibition in September. They need boards to sit on top of the pews for the displays. Sides of wardrobes, the tops of trestle tables, lengths of chipboard etc. The exhibition will be of crafts made in the parish e.g. knitted goods, so the boards do not need to be heavy as they will not be supporting much weight. Our sheep LOVE crab apples, and after a bumper year last year we have very few on our trees this summer. If you have any on the tree, or later in the season as windfalls PLEASE think of our lovely ladies and let us know! For crabs we are happy to travel so don't worry about distance. If you would like to meet the sheep they will usually eat these from your hand, so bring your gift in person and enjoy their gratitude!

Spanish slate offcuts (Builth Wells LD2)
Nearing the end of the replacement of my roof: it occured to me that the loose bits and offcuts of Spanish slate might be of interest to someone who'd like to make a garden path. It's in a skip - and the skip will be going soon. If you can make use of it, you can take as much as you want - there's quite a bit! Caveats: : you'd need to wear strong gloves, because some of the edges can be sharp: you must bring suitably strong containers to put it in, but not very big ones, because it's HEAVY. It's in Builth town: level drive access.
