20" kid's bike (Spring Hill, Somerville)
Trek Mountain Lion kid's bike with coaster brakes, 20" wheels. The seat can be adjusted from 24.5" to 28". Caveat: Only the coaster brakes work. The rim brakes are badly designed and should largely be ignored. However, the coaster brakes work just fine! Serial number: I17082955 I live in the Spring Hill area of Somerville, near Highland Ave and Cedar St. Let me know what dates/times would work for you to come by to pick up the bike or have your kid try it out -- I work from home so I'm pretty generally available except around school pickup time.

Free:
Glass jars (regular mason tops) (Spring Hill, Somerville)
I have four 12-packs of these square glass jars that used to contain tomato puree. They're 25.5 oz and have a regular mason lid. If you're into canning, these will probably work for that (though you would need to supply rings and lids). I don't know what will be required for removing the labels, but they'll probably need a soak of some kind. Allergy note: They've only been rinsed clean and some have had other foods in them; they should go through a full run of the dishwasher after delabeling. Easy porch pickup -- I can just leave these out for you. I'm near the intersection of Cedar and Highland in Somerville. When you request, please indicate one or more days/times that you can pick up (with at least 12 hours notice) and how many of the boxes you would like. I can only arrange to give away full boxes of 12.

Free:
AirCast cryo cuff (for knees) (Spring Hill, Somerville)
Cryotherapy cuff for physical therapy, post-surgery care, etc. It's an ice-water reservoir that cools a cuff you strap around your knee. This one is part #2125 if you want to look up details. I have two of these -- take one or both! I can either leave this on the porch for you (I'm in central Somerville, near the Armory) or, if getting here is hard because you have the sort of injury that might necessitate a cryocuff, I can drop this off on your porch in Somerville or Cambridge. If picking up, please indicate a day you can come by, although give me at least 12 hours notice to make sure I see your message in time.

Free:
Ethernet cables (1-6) (Spring Hill, Somerville)
I have six of these ethernet cables to give away! (Let me know how many you want.) Each is 4.3 meters (14 feet). I don't know specifics (speed rating, etc.) but I gave all of them a basic test with my laptop. I can leave them on the porch for you -- I'm in central Somerville, near the Armory. Please indicate a day you can come by, although give me at least 12 hours notice to make sure I see your message in time. I also have six others that need repair due to connectors that won't snap into place. I haven't tested them. If you're interested in those, let me know.

Promised
Light blue Huffy Highland Bike. I even installed a double footed kickstand so the kickstand actually serves a purpose. The only thing is the tires are too flat for you to ride it home from my house. You can either pick it up in a truck, or bring a bicycle pump with you and fill them up and then ride it home, or walk it a couple blocks to the gas station that has air, then ride it home.
