Bushnell Reflector Telescope with Tripod – Spares / Repair / (Kidlington OX5)
Giving away an older Bushnell reflector telescope with tripod. It looks like a nice telescope and seems generally in reasonable physical condition, but it is not complete and I cannot confirm its optical condition, so I am offering it as a restoration/project item rather than as a ready-to-use telescope. Details from the telescope: -Bushnell model 78-3612 -700 mm focal length -76 mm objective -Tripod included -Finder scope included Important: some parts are missing, including the eyepiece/lens assembly that should fit where the white protective cap is shown in the photos. The internal mirror is present, but I don't have the knowledge/equipment to assess its condition or whether it is correctly aligned and working as it should. It could be a worthwhile little project for someone interested in astronomy who already has suitable parts, or who enjoys restoring telescopes. I would much rather see someone bring it back into use than throw it away. Please look carefully at the photos to see exactly what is included. If the advert is still live, it is still available. It was used by 2 children before passing to us until our little one turned 15months so it’s been well used but still have plenty of life! I restaured the handle bar with real leather. The wheels are worn but usable and can be replaced. Overall it was a brilliant pram, just a bit too big for my little car. I have lots of accessories like rain cover, umbrella, adaptor for maxi cosy car seat

These were Ikea wardrobe doors, they still have the hinges and handles on, I've left them on in case that's what they're used for. There's a 4th one but it has a crack about a 3rd of the way from the bottom, could be cut to make a smaller mirror. Fine to take just one or two. Just under 195cm tall, 50cm across. Quite heavy. Collection from Kings Sutton, or could possibly deliver within 5 miles or so.
