Black leather sofa (Bonnington EH6)
This is a sturdy leather sofa which I got on Freegle a couple of years ago. It is still in relatively good condition and would suit someone in need of a sofa to tide them over like it did for us before we got our new sofa. We have a council uplift scheduled to take this away if no one would like it but thought we’d offer it on here beforehand in case it could help anyone in need. It’s not in perfect condition unfortunately, it has some cosmetic damage, but mostly this is on the back of the sofa - please see photos. The main bulk of the sofa is in good condition and is comfortable and good quality. If you would like it, please let us know asap as we will be getting a council uplift soon. It is heavy so you will need at least two strong people to move it and we live in a basement main door flat so as much as there are no stairs IN the flat, there are external steps OUTSIDE to get to street level. I’d say there were approximately twelve outdoor steps. You will need a van or some form of transportation, although we carried this sofa (with several breaks) from Pilrig to Bonnington ourselves so if you live nearby and you’re strong enough, you can likely manage it. We are close to Newhaven Road crossroads, EH6 postcode.

Would anyone have an old dustbin lying in the garden ? Either plastic or metal would do nicely. It needs to have a sealed lid that covers the top of the bin. My old plastic one is for keeping compost dry, but with age, it's developed a crack in the lid, which is obviously going to let in all the rain we have forecast.
