Bible from USS Osberg DE-538 (Hendersonville)
Hello. I just re-discovered a King James Bible, hardback with a blue cover, that has U.S.S. OSBERG printed in gold on the front. On the bottom of the cover in smaller print it says "Presented by the American Bible Society". I received this in the 1970's from a woman who attended our church and I believe her late husband served in the ship during the Korean War. My father told her I had dreams of attending the US Naval Acadamy at the time (never happened) and she wanted me to have it. There is some discoloration on the cover as well as wear and binding is cracked. I have already searched for an association or society for the ship that may have wanted it and do not find one. If anyone knows of someone with an attachment to the ship or just wants a bit of Navy history, you may have it. Pictures available upon request.

Burnt orange 2 seat cloth couch that can sit 3 people. 1 cushion is torn at the seam, but can be resewn easily. I am disabled and it sits too low for me now. It needs shampooed/cleaned as I no longer can do that. I do own a doggy who also laid on it. It has NO water damage or any other known tears, and is covered in the yard so no water etc can get to it. The tarp 10x14 can go with it. There is still plenty of use left with a little TLC. I will let the city take it if necessary, but I don't want to bc that would be a waste.

I am in search of a used (or new) enclosed, single axle, utility trailer. My 501c3 will modify it to be used as a mobile emergency solar powered micro grid and power station. It will be made avaliable to those in need in the Transylvania and Henderson County areas to provide electricity for those without power during grid outages, storms and other situations. Priority will be given to the elderly, those with medical support equipment such as CPAP and oxygen concentrator, and those with small children. If you have an unused trailer, please consider donating it to this great cause that will help people in need.

Rollers, tray, brushes, (a paint sprayer would be a most cherished luxury) and whatever else goes with Killzing a home’s inside walls. ***I recently was blessed to come & take care of my elderly uncle who has congestive heart failure & stage 3 kidney disease. I have cleaned up his home from truckloads of trash inside & out & now need/want to sterilize it by painting the inside with KILLZ. He deserves a house cleaned up, safe & comfortably liveable so he can do more than just survive in a clean environment. He worked hard all his life & has no wife or children. He has always been good to me & I want to return the love. I have just enough experience to get this accomplished I believe. I just don’t have the funds or supplies.
