This is currently working, but frequently I need to relight the pilot. In the past I have solved this by a thorough cleaning of the device. So if you are interested in it, pls start with cleaning it. Alternatively you can replace the pilot assembly. This works for either Natural Gas or Propane. Originally purchased at Lowe's. They still have the info on their site:

Hi all! If anyone has stuffed horses laying around your house that your kids no longer want, need or play with, I'll take them off your hands! I need them for an event that I'm planning/organizing in September. The stuffies won't be returned, as they most likely won't be in any shape/condition to be returned. Singer Sewing Machine (City of Ithaca)
Ancient Singer sewing machine. It has been in a basement for a long time, so is very mildewy. You probably won't want the cabinet, but the cast iron legs and treadle would make a nice base for a sewing table. The sewing machine itself is only missing a bobbin plate, though I doubt that it would still work. Admittedly, whatever you do with it will take some work.

Two bean bag chairs need new homes. Both in good conditions One is chocolat brown. Approximately 6 feet in diameter. The other is bright green, maybe lime; approximately 5.5 feet in diameter. Both are heavy. You need to pick them up and get them down two levels to the vehicle from the attic. They are comfy. 😍
