Antique Rocking Chair / c.1920 (Sherwood TN2)
Antique rocking chair . Vintage from the 1920-1940. The upholstery is original. The antique rocking chair has turned vertical supports, with ski rockers and springs. Raised on a shaped base with two castors to the front. It is in good condition for its age with a gorgeous patina. A wonderful example of an antique rocking chair, ready to start a new life. A broken gate ideal for keeping pets in a space/garden?? NOT SAFE AS A CHILD GATE !!! The top is splayed (see second pic) - no idea how this was donated to me but I can’t use it for my toddler. Therefore the lock mechanism doesn’t work. The gate is held closed by the small clips at the bottom (see pics 2 and 3) Could be useful in the garden or shed ?
