Vintage 1970s Kitchen Table Mid-Century Style (Clapham Junction SW11)
Giving away this circular drop-leaf kitchen table for free as part of a house clearance. It is nearly 50 years old and in remarkably good condition for its age. It features those classic mid-century-modern (MCM) tapered legs and is a fantastic space saver for smaller homes. From a pet and smoke free household. The Upcycling Potential: The veneer is chipped in a few areas (please see photos), making this a prime candidate for a beautiful transformation. To make this a high end kitchen table again: • Repair: Simply fill the small chips with a bit of wood filler. • Prep: Sand it back to a smooth finish. • Paint: Apply chalk paint in a color that suits your decor. • Finish: Seal with a clear furniture wax or a water-based lacquer/topcoat to make the surface durable, wipeable, and food safe for daily use. Logistics: • Transportation: Very convenient! The tapered legs can be removed, so it will easily fit into most cars. • Weight: Light enough to be carried by one person. Computer Desk (Anerley SE20)
I have a computer desk to give away. Unfortunately due to it being dismantled and reassembled a few times some of the fixings don’t tighten so it’s not very stable and will either need repairing or propped up with something. The desk measures 84cm long x 49cm wide x 72cm tall and includes a sliding shelf for keyboards. The desk is dismantled for collection and a 4mm Allen key will be needed to reassemble it.

Three seedling tomatoes. The variety is Gardener's Delight a reliable cherry tomato, considered the best flavour. It hangs in long trusses It is a cordon variety which means it must be staked and take out the side shoots which is very easy. I grow mine in large pots, I also feed mine with a tomato feed. YOU MUST KEEP THEM EITHER INDOORS OR IN A GREENHOUSE. I HAVE MINE IN A POLYTHENE TUB UNTIL IT GETS WARMER PLANT THEM RIGHT UP TO THE FIRST LEAVES.
