Offer: old gasoline, Sharp Park, Pacifica 1d - Old gasoline? Really? Yes, old gasoline. A family member recently passed away. I've been sorting out their estate. They'd left a car sitting undriven for nearly four years. I'm a reasonably competent shade tree mechanic and dove in to get the car started. I was in a considerable hurry and couldn't be bothered to determine whether the old gas would still work. I just siphoned it all out and replaced with new. There are roughly six gallons of the stuff, perhaps seven. Normally if I myself have a nonoperated car, or gasoline sitting around in a storage container, I will add some fuel stabilizer to it. I've successfully used gas that's older than this which had been stabilized. However, in this case, nothing was added. I did the siphoning with clear vinyl tubing and didn't notice anything odd about the old gas coming out. No visible gelling or anything like that. Sometimes the stuff semi-solidifies if it's really old. Let me note that I don't in any way warrant that this stuff is able to be run in a gasoline motor without causing difficulties and/or damage. Guaranteeing that would take analytical lab work! It may plug fuel filters or mess up catalytic converters. Don't think so based on appearance, but it might. It might have stumbling or hesitation issues. Again impossible to say without testing. If I were personally going to use this in a motor, I would probably put in some fuel treatment like Chevron Techron, and I would add fairly small increments of this old stuff to successive tanks of fresh clean fuel. My stepfather used to own a loud, slow, clumsy, old straight-six Ford truck with no smog control, that seemed to thrive on whatever weird liquids he dumped into the fuel filler neck. If he still had it, I'd have already given him this stuff and wished him the best. However, if you have some sort of similarly low tech motor that could in your view handle this -- again, this is at your discretion and without any assumption of liability or blame on my part -- let me know. I'm going on the honor system in one respect here. I know that some people will do environmentally crazy things like pour gasoline down gopher holes. PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS. Dispose of it relatively cleanly via combustion in a machine, or pass on it, okay? As far as picking up, I'm pretty cautious right now in the age of coronavirus. If you bring by a jerrican or similar container, I will happily decant fuel into it and bring it out to curbside for you to reclaim. As close to contactless as can be managed. Thanks! Offer: Kitchen sink and faucet (Alameda West End) 1d - Stainless drop in double drain kitchen sink and faucet in good condition, 33”x 22”
