"The Saint" books by Leslie Charteris (Kettering NN16)
Does anyone have The Saint series by Leslie Charteris, please? My mum is a huge fan and used to own the whole lot many years ago ((over a 100 or so, in all!). Unfortunately they got eaten by termites many moons ago (apparently the little critters enjoyed digesting them as much as she did). She has a yearning to read them again, and I would be very grateful if anyone is able to gift their own copies. As I don't drive for medical reasons, I'd be most grateful for delivery. Please email me directly from your email address to peteranderson1958@gmail.com as Freegle messages invariably go into my spam folder. Thank you. Our charity website is here.

Request:
Old Bath, Face and Hand Towels (Kettering NN16)
Does anyone have any clean old towels to gift, please? An elderly lady in the community is looking for old towels that she can use for pet bedding and also to mop up spills in her kitchen and bathroom. If you can help by gifting any, please email me directly from your email to peteranderson1958@gmail.com, as Freegle messages invariably go into my Spam folder and I tend to miss or delete them by mistake. As we are very short of volunteers who drive, delivery would be much appreciated. Thank you. Our charity website is here.

Request:
Milk Powder, Horlicks, Complan, Ovaltine, Boost, Ensure, etc (Kettering NN16)
Does anyone have any of the above items to gift, please? Or indeed any OTHER nutritional supplements, either in powder form or drink. We have an elderly lady in the community who's recuperating at home after a protracted illness and hospitalisation. She finds the above items helpful in her recovery and would be very grateful for them. She does not mind receiving opened or partially used items. As we are very short of volunteers who drive, delivery would be much appreciated. Thank you. Our charity website is here.

15h
Request:
Plunger, Harness, Bed Rails (Kettering NN16)
Does anyone have the following items to gift, please? 1) Plunger to unblock drains 2) Body harness A little old lady in the community rolled off the edge of her bed at night and landed on the floor. Fortunately she was unhurt, aside from some mild bruising, and her equally elderly husband was able to lift her off the floor. However, he himself has joint issues and finds lifting difficult. He asked if there was some sort of harness that he could use to help him lift, should this (heaven forbid) ever happen again. 3) Bed Rails or Guard Rails See above - we were thinking fitting some guard rails would prevent this sort of thing happening again. If anyone has guard rails or bed rails to gift, the lady would be most grateful. Preferably something that can be folded away during the daytime. She is now frightened of it occurring again. As we are very short of volunteers who drive, delivery would be much appreciated. Thank you. Our charity website is here.

Request:
table or pedestal fan (Kettering NN16)
Edited by moderator to lower case. Does anyone have a table fan, or even a pedestal fan, to gift please? a little old lady in the community has just had her table fan go bust - the motor appears to have conked out. Her flat gets the afternoon sun and is extremely hot and sultry, and she is finding the heat unbearable. She'd be very grateful if someone could gift her an electric fan of any kind, table or pedestal. As we are very short of volunteers who drive, delivery would be much appreciated. Thank you. Request:
Colour ink pens, Eyebrow pencils, Scrunchies, Hairbands, etc (Kettering NN16)
Dear all, 1) We are in need of colour ink pens or marker pens of any kind that we can use to mark opaque plastic storage boxes in which donated items have been stored, so that we can keep track of what's inside what! Even old eyebrow pencils would do the trick, so if you have one lying around that you no longer use, please consider gifting it to us. 2) A children's home we work with has requested Scrunchies, hair bands, hair clips, and any hair related items for the girls in their care. Please email me on peteranderson1958@gmail.com if you can help with either of my 2 requests above. As we are perennially short of volunteer drivers, delivery would be much appreciated. Our charity website is here. Cheers. Pete
