I have some knitting pattern books to pass on, due to ill health I can’t knit anymore and I would like them to be of use to someone. I have British birds, woodland friends, best in show dogs, knitted toys and world of knitted toys. I’m happy to split them if you just want some but not all. Or maybe they would be good for a knitting circle to take all of them.

I have a piece of fleece fabric with a dog paw print pattern, had it years but never used it. I can’t remember what I got it for as we don’t even have a dog! it measures 40 x64 inches. Might make a cushion for a small dog or could be used as a dog blanket. As it’s fabric, the edges are not finished but the material doesn’t fray so you could just use it as it is or hem the edges if you wanted to.

I work for the National Trust in York. We welcome donations of books to restock our second hand book stalls. All donations received from these stay at the properties to help look after them. Width 222cm x depth 90cm x height 70cm (with legs) Comes with a white throw which perfectly fits the seats. Throw is double sided, white on one side and brown with lace on other. The seats are not in good condition with rips pictured but the throw covers them really well and looks good since the rest of the sofa is in decent condition. Yellow stain from being against a radiator on the back. Sofa and throw free for collection only.

I have 2 10 ft and 1 6ft 8 inch pipes, the smaller one has some bits of brown tape on, the other 2 have never been used. I used them to make bodies for my Halloween display but they could also be good for gardeners to make cloches if that’s the right term, those covers that protect your crops.

IKEA mini chest of drawers (Harrogate HG1)
MOPPE mini chest of drawers from Ikea. N.B. I have just discovered I think 5 woodworm holes in the unpainted real timber frame on the back. This will need treating before you take it into your home. I emptied it of my sewing stuff, which I have given away, in order to give the drawers away as well, not having any idea about the infestation!! Apparently this is specifically the vintage or older 6-drawer layout version of the MOPPE unit, according to t'Internet. Very useful for storing office supplies, sewing paraphenalia, craft 'stuff', etc.
