Fish tank (Alameda W end of San Antonio)
Looking for any size fish tank for my daughter. She wants to save 3 platy fish someone has to get rid of. They are going to give them away or "flush" them.. (probably garbage disposal). We were talking about this post this morning and I kind of miss-spoke and told her they would probably have to dispose of the fish and then... "what do you mean"... and I had to tell her they were likely going to have to compost them.. anyway she's fine but wanted me to post to see if she could get a tank to save them. She said she would take care of them..

vhs vcr (Oakland)
Model: GE-VG4240 VHS Video Cassette Recorder Found this at my office when we were cleaning out storage box of old electronics and computer stuff for our upcoming move. It powers on, but I don't have any way to test other functions. So, no guarantees. Old-school, no-HDMI, so you need TV or other device with the coaxial RCA inputs (yellow-video, red & white audio) No remote, but looks like the main functions can be accessed via the buttons on front. Currently at my office in Downtown Oakland (20th & Broadway) so could be picked up there during weekdays from 10am-7pm before March 6th. But I can also bring it home if we arrange for porch pickup in Oakland Glenview neighborhood (near Park Blvd & Wellington) Will be sent to e-waste on March 9th.

Two Electric typewriters (Los Altos Hills)
Two smith corona typewriters with cases. Don’t know the vintage but when you open the case you’ll be transported to another era. One has a missing latch on the case - it cannot be carried with the handle. Both will require new ribbons and possibly some cleaning. Haven’t tried using it; giving it away for a friend.

good working microwave (Hayward , Cherryland by Target)
Hi, I'm disabled and living below the poverty line. My microwave recently went bad. This year is going to be extremely tough for me financially, making it difficult to replace it anytime soon. If anyone has a good, safely-working, countertop microwave that they no longer need, please msg me and let me know. Thank you for your time and understanding. Pls enjoy the rest of your week.

Backcountry skis, 2 pairs (South Pleasant Hill)
I have two pair of Tua Excaliber skis. They are from the 1990s and were top of the line back then. They are set up for telemark skiing. The clear coat/graphics on them has cracked, but I think these will still ski very well. They are randonnee skis that I adapted for telemark skiing and ski mountaineering. One of the binding is a releasable binding, the other is a cable 3-pin set up. Zoom in on the binding area to see the lengths, but one is 197 and the other is 190. These skis have a side-cut (hourglass shape) that is good for ski mountaineering in that you can hold an edge on icy slopes but they have enough side-cut that helps initiate turning. Let me know if you need more information or if you are interested. I hate to throw them out if someone can use them. Thanks!

Free:
Eureka Airspeed vacuum cleaner (Valencia Avenue, Sunnyvale)
Eureka AirSpeed upright vacuum cleaner with HEPA filter. I spent a lot of time cleaning it, including cleaning the dust canister, washing the foam filter, removing the cover to the base to clean the cover and the brush roller and screwing it back on, to find the power button doesn’t turn the machine on. The half of the part that the cord wraps around cracked off, so I secured it with a tie. It could be taken to one of the upcoming Repair Cafe events, which I can send you information on. Or it can be used for parts. Near building 1075 Valencia Avenue in Sunnyvale, off South Mary Avenue and behind the Crosswalk Church. Please include your available pick up time in your response and I will send you directions.
