Before they go to the dump, are these any use to anyone? They were working before, but the central knob I think is broken. You can't adjust the gap between the blades and the action is loose. So in their present condition, they do not cut. Maybe you're a workshop expert and can repurpose them or do something else with them? TP-Link Wireless Router (TD-W9970) (Streatham SW16)
This router works on both older-style "ADSL" and newer-style "VDSL" broadband connections. But its maximum wired throughput is 100 Mbps (despite it describing itself as a "300 Mbps" router). So if your broadband is 100 Mbps or less, this should work just fine for you. It's in perfect working order, I'm only getting rid of it because I upgraded my connection speed.
