It’s sheep’s wool that was wrapped around the food in a fresh food parcel. I have a few of these that I don’t need. I have used some in the cat’s outdoor shelter, I’ve also used it as pads inside cushion covers, it’s about 2cms thick. Not sure what else they could be used for.

This has been in my cupboard unused for 8-10 years as I switched to sidemount diving, so I recommend it gets a service to ensure that it's still safe. It has a non-standard buoyancy system, it uses a lever on the hip instead of an inflator. The left weight pocket handle is broken. It weighs about 2.5kg.
