Ginninderry Repair Cafe
Sunday, 1 December 2024
13:00 – 15:30
13:00 – 15:30
Join us at this community event where broken items are fixed by volunteer repairers. You can be sown how your items can be fixed and learn new skills in the process. Broken items are kept out of landfill and given a new lease on life. You can also participate in sustainable craft and drop off various items for recycling.
== Hosted by Ginninderry Repair Cafe ==
The Repair Cafe is on the first Sunday of every month between 1pm – 3.30pm at The Link Building. This is your opportunity to work with our repairers to learn how to mend anything from clothing, lamps, toasters, kettles and many other things!
If you have nothing to repair but want to learn some new skills then come along and learn how to knit, sew, mend, crochet or almost anything else!
It is fun, relaxing, social and makes you feel good to be looking after your things in this way. All welcome, just drop in.
*Generally these are available each weekend but check out the latest Facebook Event to see which repairers are on for that weekend. And if you have a handy skill you’d like to volunteer then get in touch and turn up!
