Hi everyone, I am looking for old stereo stack systems or hifi separates that are no longer being used. Whether it's a full "tower" system from the 80s/90s or individual pieces (amplifiers, tuners, CD players, or turntables), I would love to save them from being scrapped! Condition doesn't matter,I enjoy the challenge of cleaning and refurbishing these old machines. If yours has a "crunchy" volume knob, a CD tray that won't open, or simply hasn't been turned on in ten years, I’m happy to take it. I’m a firm believer that these older units often sound better than modern plastic speakers once they’ve had a bit of TLC! Many thanks for helping me keep these classic machines out of the landfill!

Hi everyone! I’ve noticed that most charity shops are no longer accepting cassette tapes, which sadly means many of these are ending up in the bin. I am on a mission to keep the format alive and give these tapes a second life! If you have any old cassette tapes (music or even home-recorded blanks) gathering dust in your loft or garage, I would love to take them off your hands. Whether it’s 80s pop, 90s rock, or your old mixtapes, I’ll give them a good home where they will actually be listened to. Also, I am also looking for cassette players of any type—Walkmans, boomboxes, or old hifi decks. Even if they aren't working perfectly, I’m happy to take them to refurbish, fix the belts, and get them spinning again. I’m happy to come and collect at a time that suits you, or you may drop them off. Let’s keep the music playing and keep the plastic out of the landfill! Thanks in advance!

Hi lovely freecyclers, my dear 14 year old dog has dementia and has started wandering at night, so we want to fence off a corner of the kitchen for her to feel comfortable. Does anyone have an old play pen or dog pen we could have. Or an old cot - in the past I have used cot-sides tied together, but I must have thrown them out and I can't find them in the garage. Pair of Glass Kitchen Worktop Protectors / Chopping Boards. Roughly 40cm x 30cm. Complete with rubber feet. Used but perfectly serviceable. Orange stain on one of them is where heat has discoloured the backing material. We used to have a slow cooker installed on top of it. Collection only from Yateley (near Waitrose). When replying please state when you can collect. I can be flexible with collection times. Please don't ask if it's still available, if it's still listed then it's still available.

Grey velvet king size bed Base and headboard 85 inches by 62.5 inches The actual bed base is in great condition, but two of the slats are broken and will need replacing. This should be very easy to achieve. Obviously none of the bedding, nor the mattress are included, just the bed base with headboard and foot board. The whole thing unscrews easily for easy transport. I would appreciate this being collected ASAP and would prefer it to go to a family who will use it, and not for resale. Collection this weekend would be super helpful! Unfortunately, I will not be able to help you lift it down the stairs. I will try to find time to take it apart, however.

Good condition. These are mains leads perhaps of most interest to retro computer enthusiasts because old PCs used to have an outlet on the power supply for supplying mains to the monitor. But they could just be used as extension leads. I've got a number of these, various lengths, I think typically 1.3m to 1.5m. You're welcome to take just one, or as many as you can make use of.

Stick Dyson cleaner with a collection (some duplicated) of attachments and wall mountable charger. The cleaner no longer works, probably but not definitely a battery issue, but might be repairable. Apparently you can obtain adapters so a rechargeable battery from power tools can be used instead. I'm happy to split the bundle of items so that at least some will be used and not go to landfill. On offer are two identical aprons for toddlers' messy play. They have been used for painting etc so they are marked but will still work to protect clothes. Single velcro fastening at the back.
