Request:
Garden Shears (CT3)
I gave my old ones away years ago to an elderly lady with overgrown grass, as she was, would you believe, cutting her lawn with scissors. After I moved I did not think I would need them again, but now it would be handy to have some as a neighbour's garden is totally covered in brambles, he cannot even open his back door properly. If I can get some shears that will, I think, be the easiest way to cut though the roots at the base , then we can get out to get the rest clear, as he has no back gate even, many thanks to anyone who can help.

Request:
Magazines For Art Therapy (CT9)
Hi, I volunteer for a recovery group and sometimes photos from magazines are used in art therapy, I prefer to call it 'creative recovery'. Anyway, we could do with some new (old) ones. Anything with images of people, places, or things are good. I don't drive but I can pick up quite a few in one go. I'll stick them in a decent sized rucksack.

To sweep up grass in the summer where the council leave it messy, and to help me with my neighbour's garden tidy up, as there's a lot to clear, we need to get to the back, so a broom would be handy, many thanks to anyone who can help.

Light Bulbs (CT7)
I have a very large number of light bulbs available as a consequence of moving completely to LEDs. They are a mixture of mainly 50 watt and 20 watt GU10 halogen spotlight types, but there's also quite a few candle form with SES, ES and BC bases, some low-wattage fluorescent tubes both ES and BC, and some standard filament bulbs and spotlight bulbs. I haven’t counted exactly but it’s a large number, at least the 99 max noted! I would rather not throw these out and I am sure someone might find them useful.
