Hi I'm a preschool teacher and work with children 18 months to 4 years. I am in a quest to start a loose parts collection to teach and inspire creativity. This could be natural or upcycled: Important things to consider: They need to be big enough not be a choking hazard. Look for things that are sturdy They need to be beautiful Ideas: Natural Sticks, A tree branch cut into cylinders, rocks that are flat, rock on a specific color, driftwood, pine cones separated by size or shape. Upcycle wool spools, Collections of caps and lids, cans that are not sharp, nuts and bolts, old frames without the glass, wood ends from floors, CD corks, Keys, wood curtain rods, sets of small boxes…and so much more I added pictures for inspirations

Requesting large pieces of cloth like bedsheets, larger tablecloths, larger remnants of canvas tarps, painter's drop cloths, fabric from pop-up shelters, etc. I have to cover a few large piles of split firewood, and plastic snags on the rough wood. Large pieces of cloth on top of the wood help reduce holes in the plastic. THANKS!

Scrapbooking page overlay (Walnut Creek)
Are you a scrapbooker? Would you like 2 page overlays for Thanksgiving 2025? Well, I have it to give away. I cut them on my Scan-n-Cut but my daughters emphatically said that Thanksgiving stuff needs to be *orange* not *purple*. Cuz, yeah, I hadn't used purple anything for a while and I felt like using purple cardstock. Obviously that was a bad choice, in my daughters' opinions, and who am I to contradict them? :-) There are (2) page overlays. The first one is the "title" page. It has 4 openings (5x6, 5x5, 5x5, 3x5); the 3x5 I had envisioned using for journaling. The second overlay is the offcuts from the first page and can be used as mats for photos. The overallsize for each page is 12x12 but it is advisable to use a decorative background page under both of them. Or just use white cardstock .. your choice. I'm in north Walnut Creek, near the PH BART station. Let me know if you're interested and if so, when you can come by to pick it up. This is a local pickup only; I'm not mailing it out.

I brought this home a couple of years ago and had a lot of great intentions to use it. I joined a Pilates studio instead and this reformer has been collecting dust.
