Teach yourself Mandarin books and dictionaries plus a lot of testing cards ( to learn characters or pinyin - Chinese written using the Roman Alphabet). Chinese is not as hard to learn as you might think. Grammar is easy, no plurals and because they stick words together, for every two you learn, you’ve probably learnt a third!

Any crafters out there who could use the fabric from this dress? The dress is very full and would give you loads of pretty flowered fabric (cotton). It seems a shame to waste it. The shoulder straps and the back fastening tie are snapped. If you have the skill you could even repair it to wear. Collection from Oakenholt, Flint.

Two Terramundi pots to two individuals. They have been used but I resisted the temptation to lever off the tops like you’re supposed to do, instead there’s a hole at the bottom for taking coins out of! I may seal with done harder tape and felt (if you’re lucky). Fair offer applies, tell me your saving goal (or don’t). There’s two to give away! Background: Terramundi Money Pots are handmade Italian (??) money saving pots which have to be broken to access the contents. The idea replicates pots used during the Roman Empire which were used to hoard coins and precious metals.
