Not used much, as I bought it for cook books, but ours are weighty tomes. As you can see, it will hold a heavy book up, but cannot hold it open. The open book one with fewer pages. Suitable for displaying books or perhaps for using with lighter wight books.

Two Ikea Billy bookcases (Handside, WGC, AL8)
Giving away two of the popular and versatile laminated chipboard Billy bookcases. Identical size, 80cm wide x 106cm tall x 28cm deep. Each has two adjustable shelves, The white one also has doors as shown. Built from flatpack four years ago, could easily be deconstructed to build something else. Needs someone handy to refix the backs which keep them true. As the backs have come adrift they are no longer stand 'square' but otherwise in good condition. They have just been moved around too much and too carelessly. Heavy but both should fit in the back of an estate car. Now empty and need gone this weekend as expecting a new bookcase on Tuesday.
