Pair of dome-shaped shades 11 inches in diameter. The Bakelite supports have become discoloured from the heat of the incandescent bulbs that would have been used. If you use LED equivalents there should be very little heat, so you could presumably paint the supports.

8 feet by 4 feet hardboard sheets, useful to protect floors during building or DIY projects. The upper surfaces have marks and stains which testify to their history, but the undersides are clean and sound, which is what counts. There are 8 in total, which is enough to cover an area of around 250 square feet, but have as many or as few as you wish.

Return to the pre-electronic age with this balance, which has a bakelite base and pans and aluminium column (with a bit of corrosion). It has had a hard life and needs some adjustment to make it work properly, but at least it looks the part. Comes complete with set of weights.
