In the Crouch Community Garden we get coffee grinds for the compost heap in strong plastic containers. They have lids and handles and are very useful. If you would like any they can be picked up free from the Community Garden on a Wednesday morning when we are open to the public. If you would like some but can’t manage Wednesday I could arrange for you to pick them up from my flat which is nearby. They have only ever had crisps or coffee in.

Hi. We have a book cabinet on our driveway as a community service to provide a free book exchange / free books. We've been doing it since Covid, and it's well use. A while ago, someone took all of our books, and we'd like to restock. If you have any fiction in decent condition that you don't want, please consider dropping it off for the green cabinet - it's on 4 Valley Road, Newhaven, BN9 9XA. Children's books are also welcome. Of course, if you're a reader, and are looking for books to read, feel free to take from the cabinet too! Please don't dump or leave old books that people are unlikely to read ;=) Thanks

Ducal pine double gents wardrobe. Locks with a key. Inside there is a hanging rail, lower shelves & 2 drawers, & mirror. Will be dismantled as that is the only way we can get it out of the house... Should fit in a large estate car or a van.
