Free:
2 large matching pairs of curtains (BS7)
Terracotta colour, heavy & lined. Set 1 : 168cm / 66 inch drop x 256cm / 100 in width. Bit of sun damage (fading at edges) but otherwise in good used condition. Set 2 : same width but 230cm / 88 inch drop. These ones also have a bit of sun damage at the edges but lining has a bit of black mould from sitting against the window pane in winter and being in contact with condensation. Ideally they would be shortened by whoever collects so that this bad bit can be cut away altogether, or could potentially be spot cleaned. Collection Lockleaze.

Free:
bread machine with minor defects (Hillfields BS16)
This is a Morphy Richards FastBake bread machine. We've listed it as 'minor defects', because it has some flaws but is still usable. The short version is that it definitely isn't as good as a brand-new machine but is better than no bread machine at all! The main problem is that the seal around the paddle is loose/missing, so dough is able to drip down into the mechanism. We have been able to continue using it like this for several years by putting the flour and other dry ingredients in first, to minimise leaking, and cleaning out the inside semi-regularly. We also avoid using it on timer mode. We also occasionally find that some dry flour remains in the corners of the loaf - but we can avoid this happening either by using a little extra water, or by using a spoon in the early stages of the bread cycle to help the machine stir into the corners. The final, much more minor issue is that one patch of the bread tin is scratched, which means it isn't properly non-stick anymore, so you have to bash the tin a bit to get the bread out. So overall, it's far from perfect but still usable *if* you are OK with these work-arounds. Can supply a copy of the manual with it. The basic bread cycle takes 3 hours and uses about 0.39kWh total. When listing options for pickup times, please give at least one option that isn't short notice.

Free:
Slate (Fishponds BS16 2PT)
Random I know. Giving away my stash of slate due to us moving home and Er-in-Charge saying "you don't need that" a million times. Various sizes, some reasonably oblong shaped, most irregular; (as in odd shaped, not unusual). Brilliant for bird boxes, wishing well planters and the like. Maybe even roof repairs! Radical eh We're in Oldbury Court Fishponds Bristol BS16 2PT Cheers David

12h
Free:
George Forman Grill (Fishponds BS16 2PT)
Used, been sat at the back of the cupboard for years and years unloved and forgotten. House move forces us to empty said cupboards. Still loads of life in it. Just to be clear, it's a grill we're giving away. NOT Mr Forman. That would be wrong. And anyway, I'd put him on Marketplace not this site.

13h
Free:
Curtain poles (Fishponds BS16 2PT)
Black, pole shaped. One longer than the other. Other one shorter than that one. Adjustable, so while the photo shows it to be 67" it might not be when you use it. Life, so unpredictable innit. Been in the garage gathering dust for a long time so need a wash. Typical! I knocked a ball off (Oooo steady missus) getting them out (Gnnnarrrf again) but I'm sure a spot of glue will sort that. We're in Oldbury Court Fishponds Bristol BS16 2PT Cheers D
