I live in a house surrounded by gum trees and have tried many methods of keeping my gutters leaf free with no luck. This is the remains of my latest method. See photos. i have 66 1 mtr lengths if this round very hairy caterpillar looking things, they sit in the gutter and stop blown in leaves etc getting in a clocking the gutter and down pipes. On the side of the house where we have no gum trees they work fine but we have decided they are all not for us. all have been removed after spending a couple of years on the roof and remain in great condition, all be it a bit dirty. If you have a house that gets blown in leaves from the neighbourhood or less prolific leaf droppers these would work well. For reference they are purchasable from Bunnings, stock number I/N: 3042371 and retail at $17.76 each.

Hi Freecyclers, Bit of a weird call out - I'm looking for quilt batting. Doesn't need to be huge pieces as I'm happy to patch together. I'm particularly after 50:50 bamboo/cotton wadding but would also take pure cotton or wool. I live out of town but will be in town tomorrow and Friday. I'm looking for a WW2 or earlier forage cap similar to the picture, for one-time use in a small theatrical presentation a week before Anzac Day. Size? say medium. Badge not needed.
