A small 2 seater couch, and matching chair, (wing chair style) structurally sound but upholstery is worn. Legs have wheels for easy movement. Upholstery is a floral pattern (large roses) in muted greens and cream. Would work well with a large cover thrown over the couch and similar for the chair. May be useful for kids retreat, or your dog could make it his favourite chair, and save your better ones. Pictures available. John B

Staircase rail
I'm looking for a piece of angled railing similar to photo. Maybe wrought iron, but I'm not picky. Maybe from a demolition of a 1960s house? It's to install beside a short set of steps as a help for a person with mobility problems. (A ramp is impractical and anyway would need a similar rail.) It needs to be 450 rising, about 55-70cm long, and about 80cm high along its length (hand height). I can cut down oversize length. If you have a similar flat railing, same height, about 50-60 cm long, that would be the cherry on the cake. I can pick up almost anywhere, any time. JC in Dickson

woollen quilt for pet bedding. Garran
This used to be a lovely heavy wool quilt in cotton cover that was perfect for winter. However. I made the mistake of getting it 'dry' cleaned; it was washed instead. You know what happened next.... it's felted and shrunk and so, while lovely and clean, it's now only suitable for pet breeding, for a large pet. It's 1.3m by 1.4m And has a cotton cover. I am consigning my old (2011) 42 inch TV to the electronic waste, but I am first advertising it here as it still works and someone may wish to use it as I have. * Panasonic TH-L42U30A. The User Manual with full specifications can be found at the link below. Also some pictures below. * The remote control is included. * It *doesn't* have a stand as it has been mounted on the wall (the wall mount is *NOT* included). * I had it connected to a PVR, so I could watch all TV channels. A suitable set top box could also be used. * I also used it as a large extended display for my computer (HDMI connection). * If you are interested, please note that it is large & heavy (17 kg) but I can lift it into your vehicle if necessary).
