I'm in need of a clothjng rack just for this weekend as I'm giving away clothes at a swap meet and need something to display them on. Even if you don't have a clothing rack, you should check out the swap meet if you're interested too. It'll be located in Beacon Hill. Bring your broken household items for a night of fixing and community building at Northgate Community Center! Link: / Join Seattle REconomy for a night of repair and skill-building at Northgate Community Center! The NE Fixers program, supported by the Department of Neighborhoods’ Matching Fund, aims to share repair skills within local communities. During these free events, community volunteers will be on hand to offer their skills to help fix things like lamps, small appliances, clothing items, small furniture, and other items, as well as to sharpen and maintain tools such as garden shears and pruners. Anyone is welcome to attend these repair events! There will be repairs, tool sharpening, and refreshments. If you are interested in being a Fixer for an event, please reach out to our Outreach Coordinator, at outreach@seattlereconomy.org. We would love to have you! Funding provided by the Neighborhood of Matching Fund from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
