I'm looking for any old pine kitchen tables. Damaged or broken is fine, I just need the tops for a reenactment project and it doesn't matter if it is broken, scratched, split, gouged. I need to make a sturdy mounting block for a knight in full armour to climb up onto his horse, so it needs to be reasonably thick wood. Armour is very heavy and its quite difficult getting onto a horse, while wearing it. Doesn't have to be a table, of course. If you have any old pieces of pinewood (or oak, or beech) that might do.... or an old mounting block you don't need any more? Thanks for looking. Can collect more or less any time to suit you.

I'm looking for a few short pieces of new or used Decking board. Doesn't have to be clean, as long as it's sound and not rotten. A few screw holes etc are no problem. I need pieces two or three feet long, but can take longer if you need rid of them. Not looking for a huge quantity, just enough to build a few steps to help a knight in armour to climb up onto his horse ( a mounting block). Can collect more or less any time.
