from a 1940s house. heavy! impression on back reads "Beach Foundry Ottawa Can 9x12." can't imagine you can find these around today. nice quality. needs a good scrub. can be sanded and repainted of course. we prefer to give locally. To create a padded headboard for my bed, I'm looking for a chunk of thin plywood (or some other rigid substance) that's about 62" wide, and 33" tall.
