Sewing machine to be used by a volunteer at Gravesham Repair Café. As well as bikes, tech, clocks and all manner of domestic items we repair clothing (buttons, zips, tears etc etc) so another sewing machine would be very well used. Please does anyone, within a 5 mile radius of Maidstone, have any large flat pack boxes no longer required? They are being requested by our church youth club for a project to help them understand how many people around the world have to live in dwellings made from whatever they can find. The idea is to find loads of large pieces of cardboard & divide the youngsters into teams to see if they can erect something that will shelter them, then pour water over them to see how long they will last!! Any help you can give will be much appreciated thank you. I need to know by Wednesday 24th. Collection can be arranged. Many thanks, just in case.
