Overlocker Sewing Machine, Working Or Requiring Repair (DA11)
Does anyone have an overlocker that will be used by our volunteer repairers at Gravesham Repair Café. We meet twice a month to repair and adjust all manner of clothing and domestic fabric items as well as bikes, clocks, electrics, garden equipment, tech etc etc. An overlocker would be very well employed and do come along and bring anything you need fixing whilst seeing the overlocker in action. Internet will find us. Gravesend Repair Café for venues, dates and times.

This is a small (approx. 43cm x 33cm excluding side pockets) backpack that comes with a padded "sleeve" (shown above) for a laptop. It also has two side pockets and large and small pockets on the back of it, so ideal for keeping pads and peripherals separate from each other. Note that it doesn't have a strap for the waist, so your shoulders take all the weight. Not recommended for carrying heavy items for extended periods.

Approximately 15cm x 10cm in size, this is a simple alarm clock with a big display. Has a simple switch to enable/disable the alarm and a snooze "button" (just press the word Snooze on the top of the clock). Comes with a power cord, but can also be used with a single 9V (rectangular) battery. Note that the power cord cannot be unplugged.

Retro style Ikea Poang chair frame (Rochester ME1)
A full adult-sized Poang with unusual stainless steel seat and back frame, with its signature style laminated bent wood arms and legs and all the original nuts and bolts. This was Freecycled to me a year ago with plastic strap ‘webbing’ supports, sad foam, and intriguingly, the usual black cotton cushions with attached headrest. This frame does not have a high back for a headrest cushion but a shorter backed adult can just about rest your head if slump down into it! It did creak a lot with the plastic webbing so l removed it all, and washed the cushions to remove the white fibre wadding poking through. Needless to say, it disintegrated… I like this chair. I dreamt of spray painting the steel a fab colour and adding not creaky slats or strapping, light sanding the wood varnish off and re-spraying to re-fresh, and adding gorgeous, moody cushions to sit on… Spring project anyone? At the front of my house on the front lawn. First to see, will love it and take it. Just let me know :-)

Humax Freeview box with recording (Barming, ME16)
This is an old Humax PVR9200T Freeview box with a 160Gb internal hard drive for recording programmes. You basically plug an aerial into it and then plug your TV into it in order to view Freeview digital television channels. The digital receiver seems to work fine (so you'll be able to watch live Freeview TV), but I didn't test the recording feature. As I understand it, this box was retired because the household switched to Virgin Media rather than there being issues with the Humax itself. It only supports a SCART connection, so no HDMI. I'm also pretty sure it doesn't support HD (high definition) TV. It's considered obsolete and the last software update for it was back in 2010. If you're still interested despite the caveats, I would be happy for it to find a new home.

Vintage, discontinued summer tent, sleeps up to ten. 5m diameter. One pole that supports the optional porch sail is missing and there are some minor mildew spots inside. Unused in ten years. No rips, tears or holes. All guy ropes intact. Currently folded and out of the bag for airing.
