The Falcon Explorers (Scout group 12th & 17th) are currently creating a sensory garden in Luton Memorial meadow for the Sprites nursery children. We are currently looking for donations of items which include: Plants and herbs that are nice to touch, or smell, such as Lambs ears, Bunny tails, Lavendar, Lemon balm, Rosemary, Salvia, Dianthus, Curry plant, Wallflower etc, or plants that are bright and colourful. Also bark, stepping stones, bath toys, garden liners, garden ornaments that could be painted if needed, cut down logs and wooden benches, if you can help with any of this or anything else, it will be much appreciated.

Hi everyone, Before I head to B&Q, I thought I’d see if anyone has an unwanted narrow CD/DVD tower gathering dust. I’m building a slim hallway cupboard for our dogs’ walking equipment and the side panels would be perfect to repurpose. I’d much rather give an old piece of furniture a second life than buy new materials. Cosmetic condition isn’t overly important, as I’ll be rebuilding and refinishing it. Happy to collect locally.
