The black plastic lever holder has a split so I hold it open with a bungee cord. Easy fix if that I was never motivated to do. Works good at full open but can be fixed by a metal bar screwed into both handles beneath the lever if you were not born after 1990 as you probably are not handy.

It's probably about 40 years old and I am giving it away because I don't want to set it up for pictures and because I can't guarantee that the seams are still waterproofed. It wasn't used more than a dozen times - if that - and should still be in good condition!
