Spring All4Free Event-Free Giveaway (River Church E16)
Please circulate in your networks, clients and friends: Spring All4Free Event 2026! We are inviting to our annual Spring All4Free Event. Free baby items, children’s clothes, shoes, school uniforms, toys, games, books, leisure wear and smart clothes, kitchen ware, household items, small electric appliances… all for free for families in need (on the asylum system, temporary accommodation, welfare system, food bank clients, struggling with cost of living and hidden poverty). No questions asked. Free refreshments, play area for the children, women only nursing area and baby changing space. Saturday, 25th of April, 1-3pm. River Church Hall, River Church, 71 Vincent St, London E16 1LS. Public transport: Canning Town Station, Jubilee tube and DLR Rathbone Market, Buses 5, 69, 115, 300, 330, 474 Canning Town Recreation Ground, Bus 325 Donations accepted on the day from 11am. Four years of All4Free events, more than 2,000 people supported last year with essential goods. Please share as far and wide as possible to reach out to as many families as possible! Since our first event, we stick to the simple concept to give away donated items to support families with essential goods. All exchanges are non monetary- everything is for free, no one is charging for any of the services. According to the National Centre for Social Research (NatCen) in 2021/22, 18% of children were in material deprivation (2.6m), 8% of children were in material deprivation but not in a low-income family (1.1m), and 10% of children experienced the combination of both material deprivation and living in a low-income family (1.5m). Literally tonnes of tangible items go to waste, while families cannot afford to buy essential goods for their children. BBC Manchester reports an “estimated 60 million clothes come in from charity shops and local authority textile bins across the region [Manchester] but there are fears a growing amount cannot be recycled. The reason is thought to be the rise of so-called fast fashion, the mass production and sale of low quality and cheaply-made clothing closely following the latest trends.” Peter Page, head of recycling and sustainability, said: "It's very difficult because clothing is not designed to be recycled. It's designed to be bought, to be worn and then to be thrown away." Making these clothes available for families in need is serving two purposes: minimising perfectly good items going into landfill, and supporting people in need.

Heavy duty landscape fabric (Hornsey N8)
Large amount of fabric (comes in at just over 34 square metres) for a project that didn't happen. Some of it's picked up a bit of dirt, but nothing serious, most is untouched. Folded flat and stuffed into a black rubble sack, it fills 2/3rds of it. There's more than enough there for a good garden project...I was going to use it to stop our neighbours ivy growing though the lap fencing.

Topway tile levelling kit (Hornsey N8)
Pack of 50 leveling clamps for 1.5mm - 6mm joint gaps between tiles. Used some of the clamps once - they cleaned up nicely and will work just as well next time round. It's a very easy system to use and really does give you a flat, well aligned finish. As you can see, their tighten/loosen gadget is in the pack and there are also some 'how to use' instructions on the bag. Please only respond if you really want these and are prepared to come and collect them. Thanks, Jake

Free:
Child's trampoline (Hornsey N8)
Metal frame child's trampoline in excellent condition, with no damage to the metal or tears/cuts in the materials The frame around the blue trampoline sheet is 81cm side-to-side by 97cm front-to-back. As you can see from the photos, it folds flat when not in use and the locking system is made of metal, so the teeth grip tight and don't slip. I've had enough no-shows on past items to be wary...so please show me that you're serious by letting me know who the trampoline is for when you reply. Your own real name would be nice too! Collection only. Looking forward to hearing from you. Jake
