Velvet green curtains for pick up from N1. The room darkening fabric lets in a small amount of light and there is no glare on TV/screens. It gives a strong sense of privacy as shapes and light are barely perceived from the outside. Curtains reduce heat from the sun as well as heat loss from draughty windows. For best effect, mount from ceiling to floor with the curtains overlapping the window, as close as possible, to prevent gaps. Luxurious thick velvet that falls elegantly and captures the light, adding depth and richness to the colour. The dense weave dampens sound, softens light from outside and is also resistant to pilling. The 250 cm length is ideal if you want to hang the curtain above the window for a casual look. Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hinge the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

Colourful cardboard donkey pinata, was used with gusto at a party - body is broken ( of course!) but could be repaired to live again as a fun party activity. Head and legs and the beating stick have survived well. Had kept it to repair it myself, but perhaps someone else would like it as this poor little donkey has waited more than a year, forgotten in my basement…Collect from Upper Clapton E5.
