You may be familiar with the expression "don't judge a book by its cover", well, don't judge this table by these photos. I got this table a couple of years ago and it has been a remarkably strong and nimbal portable work table. First of all, the thing is built like a tank - incredibly rigid. Second, since it's on wheels it can be moved to wherever I needed it in the garage. The top is an inch and a half thick. The other dimensions are in the photos. "But the top looks like hell". So true. But everything is purely cosmetic - no dents, dings, or gouges. If you wanted to use it in a living room or bedroom (somewhere other than the garage or workshop), it would probably be a great refinishing project, and be a handsome piece of furniture afterwards. I'm downsizing and have to let it go. Don't miss this chance to offer it a new home. You won't be disappointed. Easy pickup in Saugus close to Target and Kelly's Roast Beef.

23.5 inch square Dolly. Base is a one-inch thick piece of MDF board that is covered in a durable wrap-around cardboard. I expected the cardboard to eventually fray (at which point I would remove it) but it has held up remarkably well over the years.
