The Lions Club REUSE old glasses/spectacles (rather than RECYCLE which opticians schemes do - also think some of these scheme are suspended now). I am going to be doing a drop off soon to a Lion's collection point. If you have old glasses/spectacles that you would like to be reused in the developing world and are happy to drop them off to me in Booker during daylight hours please get in touch and I will provide directions, needs to be daylight hours as I have a place you can drop them so you don't need to give a specific time and I don't need to be in, but there are trip hazards in the dark, so not safe for you then. Old computers laptops and computer components (Church RG2)
I am currently repairing or reusing old computers and components. I would like to collect any old computers from the 90s or anything in the last 10 to 20 years. I can make use of cables and components such as motherboards and expansion cards as well as laptops and complete or part complete system units. If you have a loft full of goodies or a storage cupboard of equipment with several computers or devices id be over the moon to be considered for any donated items and computers. I can remove the hard drives for you on collection. I have a waste carriers license for collection and equipment maybe reusing or recycled depending on age and condition if working or not.
