"Spartan" helmet (North Oakland)
I'm attaching a photo of the type of helmet my 14-year old is looking for. He has a presentation to do on TUESDAY (typical, just told me now), and he would like to wear what he is referring to as a "Spartan helmet." The presentation is, you guessed it, about the Spartans. It's time to let this go. It's in good condition and has been stored inside. The back rest could stand recovering if you are talented at that. It has a tear which is currently taped. May not be up to existing safety standards, but it was used for two babies 65 plus years ago and they both turned out OK. Parking is easy, about 1 mile from Montclair. If delivery is an issue, might be able to deliver for free if I can time with other errands, or for a reasonable fee to cover gas which is getting out of control. Let me know when you'd like to pick up during daylight hours.
