My Cuisinart PerfecTemp Electric Tea Kettle's seal just gave out. The base still works, but with the leak, it can no longer be used safely. I'm not working right now and am looking for one here before considering purchasing one. Clear glass or a metal one would be the preference over plastic. Thanks so much!
