Heavy-Duty Ergotron Sit-Stand Desk Base / Adjustable Workbench Frame (DIY) Description Free for pickup. This is a high-end, heavy-duty mechanical (non-electric) Ergotron adjustable workspace frame. The counterbalance lift mechanism, hand brake, and tension cables all work smoothly. Because this is a commercial-grade mechanical frame, it is incredibly sturdy. I have been using it outside as a workstation with dual monitors and as an adjustable height tool station/workbench for my miter saw, router, and other heavy power tools. It handles the weight and vibration flawlessly. Please read condition details before responding: Includes temporary/degraded top: The wood desktop currently attached is weathered and needs to be replaced. However, it has been left on to keep the heavy lifting columns stable and easy to transport, and it will serve as a perfect template for tracing and drilling your new workbench top. Feet bolts: It has been used outdoors. Three of the heavy-duty 3/8" leveling foot bolts are frozen from rust, and one has sheared off flush in the hole. You will need to drill/extract the broken bolt to spin in new 3/8" feet (wooden blocks are currently tied on to keep it level). Vehicle space needed: This is heavy, high-quality steel (the frame alone weighs around 85 lbs). Because the legs stand 31" tall even at the lowest setting, it will NOT fit in a standard sedan trunk. It will easily fit in a pickup, minivan, or a hatchback/SUV with the rear seats folded completely flat. This is a good-sized hanging rack that someone can attach to the ceiling of a garage to put things up there, like extra suitcases and supplies like TP. We had 2 of them and had to take one down when we put in cabinets in our garage. It comes with the hardware so it can be readily installed.
