Tiny surface scratches on the glass. There are some light signs of wear to the metal frame consistent with age and use, but nothing that detracts from its appearance. My wife purchased but it came in with a variety of defects such as: 1. Drawer doesn't close all the way when the legs are put in 2. The front flap table doesn't come all the day down 3. There are some paint imperfections We received a refund from the website we purchased it but they have said to not return it to them. Unfortunately neither my wife nor I have the skills/tools to fix this up but it is an overall great piece for someone who likes to fix up pieces of furniture. I have since boxed it back up for ease of transport.
