Old Desktop Computer (Chinnor OX39)
I have refurbished this small desktop computer provided by a kind Freegler and I can now offer it to anyone who can make good use of it. It is old, has Windows installed and has signs of wear however could be of use to someone in need. As i receive many requests, please provide your NAME, your CONTACT NUMBER and your reason WHY you should be considered, as I need to ensure it will do what you need it to do and inform you of any defects. I'm not a business, its having over 40 years experience in repairing these items, done in my spare time using donated broken laptops given to me by other Trash Nothing users (see my Broken Laptop request), using my own money and giving them away because i can, it gives me great satisfaction in helping a deserving individual. For those just looking to sell these items given please do not contact me, also I'm not a repair service. In an industry responsible for so much 'upgrade fever' there is a good chance machines donated to me can be brought back to life or parts can be salvaged. I know, how can we be thinking about onesies in this weather? My daughter was thinking the same so has had a clear out. Pictures to follow. One reindeer, one grey zebra, one black cat, one koala and one pink with stars. The reindeer, zebra and koala are the thick plush kind, the cat is a thin velour and the pink with stars is a stretch knit fabric, similar to t shirt material. Suit age 10-12. Smoke and pet free home. Take one or take them all. Will launder today.

The Lions Club REUSE old glasses/spectacles (rather than RECYCLE which opticians schemes do - also think some of these scheme are suspended now). I am going to be doing a drop off soon to a Lion's collection point. If you have old glasses/spectacles that you would like to be reused in the developing world and are happy to drop them off to me in Booker during daylight hours please get in touch and I will provide directions, needs to be daylight hours as I have a place you can drop them so you don't need to give a specific time and I don't need to be in, but there are trip hazards in the dark, so not safe for you then. I am now retired and my hobby is collecting, repairing and restoring old computers like the ones in the picture. The older the better! Broken or not working? I still want them! Also any computer parts you no longer want would be useful. I can collect up to about 30 miles around High Wycombe or further for interesting items. I am mainly looking for computers from the 70s and 80s like> Tandy (Radio Shack), Commodore, Sinclair, Apple, Atari, Acorn (BBC, Amiga ect), Amstrad, Osborne, IBM, Sharp, CP/M Machines, Early pc's (8bit / 16bit era XT AT 8086 8088 80286 80386) And many others...
