I am looking for someone to take over 100% moderation and ownership of the Somerville and Cambridge freecycle/Trash Nothing groups. I created the Somerville Freecycle on Yahoo Groups in 2004 and have been running it (with help from generous members along the way) since then. I moved it to Trash Nothing last year when Yahoo changed their Groups format. For the most part, there is very little maintenance. The main duties are approving requests to join the group(s) or approve posts. Most members have already been approved and allowed to post. You will receive email approval notifications, the average of which are 2-4 per day, but probably not even that. Some of those are requests to join and can be quickly approved. Moderated posts just need to be ensured the WANTed or OFFERed item is allowed per the group policies. Please reply directly to me with the following.
