Broken/unwanted laptop,desktop,bits Looking for free, even broken laptop or unwanted desktop and pc bits Quite happy if hinges, keyboard or the screen are broken and not showing anything or even totally dead. Please clear any Bios or User passwords if possible. The mains lead and vga cable would be very handy. Can collect in easy driving distance of West Bridgford. First thing i will do is make sure that the harddrive is erased and reformatted. If it can be repaired and is still usable it will be re-circulated. If you have other computer equipment that is no longer required I would clean it up and pass it on.

One computer desk. Grey. Ugly but extremely useful way of keeping a computer in a compact space - the keyboard and printer shelves both slide out and the unit itself is on castors. 59cm w x 50cm d x 76cm h (the keyboard shelf is a bit lower, for perfect ergonomics. I used to use this as a way of having a demarcation between work and home - it reminded me not to stray far from the desk when I was working! Not doing that any more, so now I have a more colourful desk for more creative stuff. :-) Collect from Belper please. It will have to go to Loscoe tip next week.

Cork noticeboard in the shape of a teddy, measures approx 41 cm high x 28 cm at the widest point. There's a hanging hole at the top so you can attach it to the wall. There are some pinholes from where drawing pins have been used, but they're barely (bear-ly?!) noticeable. I can let you have some drawing pins as well if you need them.

Computers (West Bridgford NG2)
I am a retired Advanced Lecturer in electronics. I am currently looking for computers and laptops that I can refurbish and gift to people who are not in a position to buy. Suitable computers for donation are: Purchased in or after 2015. Windows 11 & 10 computers (that may or may not be Windows 11 compatible). Laptop or desktop tower (micro towers especially). I do not charge anything for my time or the computers that I gift so it helps if they are in working order. Many people remove the hard drive as a security measure though it is not always necessary. Microsoft gives advice and instructions on how to prepare your computer for donation. Just search for "How to Prepare Your PC For Sale or Donation" and select the Microsoft's Support Page. If you prefer, I can remove personal data (by securely shredding and formatting) before carrying out a total re-installation of the Operating System (Windows) in accordance with Microsoft's instructions. If it is not possible to re-install Windows, I install the Linux Mint Operating System. Demand far outstrips supply so I am grateful for donations. Thank you for your consideration.
