south african colon figures/statues (Camden tube station NW1)
10 wooden 'Colon' statues from South Africa bought around 2010. Part of the 'Colon' tradition that originated in West Africa as a way of satirising colonial officials (I'll put a link about their history below). 30cm tall. They are lightweight so easy to carry, I can wrap them in newspaper if you would like. I also have a priest statue (the picture at the end) which is 55cm tall. PLEASE READ: Collect from Inverness Street near Camden Tube, post code is NW1 7HB. If interested, please reply with a time that would work for you to pick it up. Thanks. /

Free:
Small wooden cabinet with cupboard & 3 drawers (islington N1)
Solid little cabinet in a dark mahogany finish — Size: 71 cm wide × 29.5 cm deep × 78.5 cm tall. one cupboard on the left (with a shelf inside) and three drawers on the right, all with pretty ceramic rose knobs. The cupboard door has some hand-painted flower detailing. It’s been in storage and is sturdier and heavier than it looks, so it’s a proper solid piece rather than flat-pack. Some light marks and wear consistent with age, but structurally sound and plenty of life left in it. Would suit anyone happy to give it a clean or a little TLC, or upcycle it.

Small green suitcase (Chiswick W4)
Pretty old and paintwork is coming off. The combination lock still works, but I don’t have the key for the key locks. The wheels and handle both still work and it functions fine. Counts as an Overhead bag for Ryanair, easy jet flights and the like. If you want two suitcases and can collect this alongside the big pink suitcase (in my previous post) that would be preferable for my organisation.
