Electric wheelchair (Finchley N2)
Very old, working electric wheelchair, affectionately named Usain. Model: Quickie Rumba pre 2012. Chair is now obsolete so you cannot get new parts apart from ebay, occasionally. Controller is wobbly and cannot be tightened. Otherwise all parts working, batteries replaced 2 years ago. You will need a 12v charger, as I'm keeping mine for my other chairs. Very faithful chair. Has given me many years and many international trips. Takes 12V 50Ah batteries for best range. Does fold, but very very laborious and heavy to fold, as you need to first remove batteries. Tends to require a strong, tech savvy assistant. To collect you'll need a wheelchair accessible vehicle or a strong and patient person who is willing to work out how to fold down the chair. For someone with mobility needs only.

Free kitchen – collection only (9–21 January) This kitchen is basic but perfectly serviceable and is free to anyone who would like it, and can dismantle and remove it between 9th and 21st January. It includes: Stainless steel sink and taps Cabinets and drawers Electric oven Extractor hood Fridge freezer You’re very welcome to take individual items if you prefer (for example, just the oven or just the fridge freezer). Everything is in usable condition, and I’d much rather it was reused than sent to landfill. The kitchen is on the 10th floor of a block of flats, so please bear this in mind when arranging removal. Collection only – please bring your own tools and be able to dismantle and take everything away. If you’re interested, feel free to get in touch. 😊
