Antique bureau / writing desk. Has bookshelves that attach to top (currently removed for transport but can be screwed back in). Veneer is damaged on top and chips across front so would be a good upcycle project. Antique Desk (SE25)
It is beautiful and really unique but it has woodworm and I can’t find the right service that can take it away to treat it. I fear an at-home treatment won’t be harsh enough as the desk is badly affected. It was my mum’s and I really love it but I just can’t keep it in the house and so it’s in the shed gathering dust. I’ve also spilled some water-based paint on the top. Maybe someone on here is more experienced and feels like bringing it back to life?
