Smoke alarm with 10-year battery (75th St NW and 75th Ave NW)

- Never used or activated. Kidde model i9010. Sealed battery is good for 10 years after installation. After I opened the package I discovered that I had purchased wrong kind - I need a “hard-wired” alarm, which this one is not. Purchased 5/24/2024 at Menards. I could return it to store for a refund, but since the package is opened they’d probably send it to landfill.
