The party is over, the guest of honour has gone home, and I now have gold balloon numbers, 9 and 0. They are about 3 feet (90cm) high. The 9 can be turned over to make a 6, so if you want to celebrate a 90th, 60th, 9th, 6th, or zeroth birthday, you need these numbers!

Perennial plant - lungwort (Fisher and Meadowlands)
This perennial does well in shade and moist soil. Purple blooms in the spring. Doesn't look like much now because it is late in the season but very lovely in spring and in its preferred, moist, shady conditions.
