Fast growing ground hugger. An evergreen which in theory produces small white flowers followed by red berries. I am uprooting an area covered by it, so there is going to be masses of bits with roots, already to grow. It needs to go somewhere where it doesn’t matter if it spreads widely. It would be ideal for stabilising a steep bank. *Moderator note - Cotoneaster dammeri is classified as an invasive, non-native species so any Takers of these items are legally responsible for ensuring it does not spread into the wild or onto neighbouring land.

The pillow cases are faded on the upper side, but have retained their colour on the back. Could be used back upwards, the only difference being there is no border on the back. King size mattress protector (Kendal LA9)
This is a white 100% cotton White Company fitted mattress protector for a king size bed mattress. A label on the protector indicates it is 200cm long x 150cm wide (6' 6 long" x 5' 0" wide). I used it on a standard double bed measuring 190cm long x 135cm wide (6' 3" long x 4" 6' wide). It worked, but was a little big (now I know why). I have washed it & examined it & can only find one small mark/blemish. It is in good condition. I have downsized to a single bed, so have no further use for it

Well rotted horse manure for gardens (Tebay CA10)
Based on a fine sawdust bedding, over a year old so well rotted, dark and peaty, excellent for improving soil fertility. Regular Freegler-gardeners have already been digging here as you can see, and we'll be dressing our own veg garden with it very soon, but we still have quite a chunk available. As the year goes on the stack will continue to dry out (sigh... if it EVER STOPS RAINING!) and then it won't be too heavy to bag and take away. Wear wellies anyway. Located at Greenholme, behind M6 Tebay northbound services. I can send you detailed directions, address & phone number when you enquire. 2026 details: The left hand end of the heap, nearest the gate, is the newest - only take from here if you're building hot beds. The right hand end furthest from the gate is over a year old and is well rotted for digging-in. Take whichever suits your plans! We have plastic bags available if you need them - they are sawdust bale bags cut in half. They are square-ended and small enough to fill and lift easily and sit OK in a trailer or car boot. Measure roughly 30cm by 45cm base and 50cm deep. I haven't got any bigger ones though. You'll need a spade because the peaty muck will crumble through the tines of a garden fork. (We can lend ... if we're here when you call.)
