You will want to be refinished or paint the outside top lid. I thought it was a family heirloom so I kept it. I don’t like all the swirls and dust crevices. Other than needing some love on the top it’s a substantial piece.

Round Oak Table w/ 4 Chairs (Courts of Four Seasons)
This is a large oak pedestal table (hard to see in the pics!) It is 54" across and has an 18" leaf that can be added. 2 regular chairs and 2 captain's chairs. It's been our family table for 30 years and could use a good sanding and some love. This has to be out of my house by Thursday, 12/18! FAIR WARNING - it's heavy! I have removed the top from the pedestal for transport, and you'll just need to rebolt the top on. This top won't fit in a small car, so plan accordingly! Still many good years left in this!
