If not for hiking, I found big woolly socks were brilliant for keeping babies’ legs and feet warm over the top of other clothes when carrying them in a sling or rucksack-style carrier!

Silver coloured metal clothes airer / drier with additional 'hangers' - these are the black plastic things on top 4 corners. In good condition. It is a bit of a pain to take down so if you can put it somewhere you can leave it up then would save the odd trapped finger - or do it with 2 people! Can be collected any time from my front step.

Decorative dress trim (Castle Ward Lancaster)
This light turquoise/ duck egg blue decorative trim came off an item that I've been giving a Sewing Bee style transformation. The washing label says the trim is 100% cotton and I would describe it as a kind of heavy weight broderie anglais rather than crochet or lace. It is approximately 9cm/ 3½ inches deep. The two pieces which came from the short sleeves are about 44cm/ 17 inches long and one from the hem is about 142cm/ 56 inches long.

Really comfy and the arms are perfect for holding a brew! Very sturdy but cats have clicked some areas of the fabric. Someone will probably want to sand them down and revarnish but I was really happy as they are. Having a sort out and don't need them anymore. Collection only from between Carlisle and Wigton.
