She is only a baby but has big intentions. I love these easy to grow plants that prefer poor soil in the sun. Grow them in the shade and they won't flower. YOU MUST NOT plant this out until the frost has gone, then it be fine. The other pics are mine in the garden last year. They grow fine in pots.

Hellebore Small Plant white or pink (Morden SM4)
Hellebores are long living plants they go on for years providing the conditions are right. Mine are grown in the garden dotted around in sun and shade. I cut the tatty leaves off. Before the flowers come I cut off all the leaves. I will cut off all flower stems. If you want more you can leave a couple on to self seed. It may be white or pink. Hellebores are so promiscuous.You never know what colour the seedlings will be.

My son is now 42, he had these when he was about 12 and a shoe size 4, when they were quite trendy. He went off them and out of curiosity I tried them on (size 6), they fitted, were comfortable and looked great with jeans. Unbelievably, apart from some scuff marks on the tops, they show no signs of wear, even on the soles. They've been stored in a basket in my bedroom for around 20 years now, I can't bring myself to just throw them away if someone else can find a use for them. As I say, ideal for messy tasks or dog walking, no need to worry about ruining them!
