I bought this second hand last year, thinking it sounded like a really good one but never got around to taking it out of the box! I assume it's in full working order as that was the description when I bought it. I would just rather have something that wasn't non stick now.

Juicer. Big, heavy and old (4 miles south of Petworth)
This is a hefty twin gear juicer. See the photo alongside a standard wine bottle to give you an idea of the size. It's very heavy, so really needs the space to be out on the worktop. It's old but very sturdy. It makes excellent juice. The fruit is crushed between two augurs, so it's cold pressed rather than the centrifugal type. It works best with a mix of hard and soft fruits, e.g. apples, pears, carrots with softer fruit. Using only soft fruit clogs up the screens which catch the pulp. See here for the modern versions
