Chinese Landscape Watercolor (Belmont, MA)
Beautiful mid-century watercolor of Ci Lake. The artwork and calligraphy are in great shape, but the outer matting has water damage and needs a refresh. Free to someone who enjoys framing or restoration! It’s a peaceful "Shan Shui" style scene of a waterfall and mountains at Ci Lake, complete with original calligraphy and the artist's red seal. The piece is in its original red wooden frame. As you can see in the photos, the outer matting has significant water staining along the bottom. However, the central watercolor artwork looks salvageable. It would be a fantastic piece if re-matted and put in a new frame. I’m looking for a quick and reliable pickup in Belmont. I have this unique vintage side table to give away. It has a really cool lyre (or harp) shaped base and has been painted black to give it more of a modern farmhouse feel. It’s a great size for a small space—measures roughly 24" high, 24" wide, and 13" deep. Dimensions: 36'' by 22'', 18" tall. I think it's originally from Ikea, but I can't remember the specific name. As you can see in the pictures, it's a black, wooden coffee table. Some light scratches, otherwise no major damage. Not too heavy, though perhaps a little bulky depending on your means of transport. Pick up is in South End. Thanks!
