It’s a lovely plant and it’s no trouble at all, the slugs and snails seem to ignore it. It will spread slowly and come up every year. All I do is cut it down at the end of the year when it seems to be finishing. The first picture is in my garden last year, it’s the one with the white spikes. Mine is grown in full sun. They die down and come up in the spring. Give it a couple of weeks or plant right away, there are four seedlings in the pot. It's fine if you are very careful to separate them.

Please read to the bottom of description for location. Here is a garden project for someone for some sort of feature. It consists of a window frame with plastic mirrored squares and 2 shutters some of the mirror stuff has come off a couple of the paines but still affective. Sizes are window 22 x 29 inches and the shutters are 20 x 16 inches. We are in Headley near box hill.
